logsTranscribes physician orders in a timely manner Enters orders in the computer system Prioritizes orders by identifying those with timed or immediate action Notifies appropriate nursing staff or departmentResponds appropriately and in a timely manner to patient requests including prompt acknowledgement to patient call bellMaintains good working relationships both within the department and with other departmentsDemonstrates an ability to be flexible organized and function under stressful situationsContinually assesses the work environment and takes initiative to perform tasks which improve work flow patient through put communications andor the environment of careAnswers telephone or intercom promptly in a polite manner and communicates information to the appropriate personnelfamilyCommunicates appropriately and clearly to the charge nurse co workers and physiciansPerforms all aspects of indirect patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and
