Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures. **Other information:** **Required Job Qualifications:** •High School degree or GED Good communication skills • Computer skills • Good time management and organizational skills **Physical Demands:** • Flexible work hours **Responsibilities:** • Performs a variety of clerical duties to support patient care process. • Functions as a receptionist for the unit. • Orders and maintains adequate supplies for the unit. • Facilitates physician orders-orders tests, diets, lab work, charges, etc. via computer. • Maintains patient's paper chart. • Greets patients, visitors, physicians, etc. • Utilizes telephone etiquette and responds to phone inquires meeting customer services expectations. • Computer knowledge to do data entry, graphs, memos, etc. • Maintains clean and safe work environment. • Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement, as appropriate.
