We currently have an opportunity for a **Unit Assistant** .
**Job Purpose**
To provide flexible administrative support across servicing units, with the ability to shift between units when assistance is needed. This role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to maintain the professional and courteous image of the company in initial contact with clients while supporting day-to-day administrative functions.
**Functions & Responsibilities**
+ Type correspondence, certificates and exhibits and any other miscellaneous typing needs
+ Prepare mass mailings and other clerical projects
+ Deliver, pick-up, and file all items in connection with accounts
+ Maintain unit files
+ Assist with incoming telephone calls
+ Policy issuance
+ Maintain pending or follow-up system
+ Payment follow-ups
+ Work individually but contribute to overall team
+ Application requests
+ Loss run requests
+ Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned
+ Pursue a program for personal and professional development
**Qualifications**
+ 2-3 years related experience
+ MS Office proficiency
+ Some knowledge of insurance helpful
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities across different units
Department Account Management & Service
Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
Required Travel: Negligible
Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
