This mobile position requires a proactive and skilled individual to provide essential services. You will be fully equipped for success, with a company-issued van, all necessary tools, a uniform, an iPhone, and an iPad, providing everything you need to effectively perform your duties. **What You’ll Do:** + Collaborative Maintenance & Repair: Partner with internal teams on complex maintenance and repair efforts. + Property Inspections & Repairs: Perform comprehensive inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including critical systems such as HVAC units, Boilers, and Cooling Towers. + Work Order Management: Review and assign work orders to team members. Directly complete ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs as needed. + Facility Assessments & Reporting: Conduct thorough facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions that impact client occupancy and operations. + Safety & Compliance: Complete Hazard Assessments and maintain strict compliance with all relevant State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, and Laws. + Technical Application: Apply some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them. + Leadership & Values: Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. + Quality & Impact: Impact the quality of your own work, ensuring high standards of service and maintenance. + Standardized Procedures: Work within established standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. + Communication: Exchange straightforward information, ask clarifying questions, and actively check for understanding to ensure effective communication. **What You’ll Need:** + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a formal diploma. + Physical Requirements: Must meet the physical requirements of the role, including but not limited to stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. + Problem-Solving: Ability to effectively use existing procedures to solve standard problems. + Analytical Skills: Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make informed judgments. + Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge and proficiency in using Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook). + Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills coupled with a strong inquisitive mindset. + Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future _Should any element of this Job Description conflict with the provisions of an applicable collective bargaining agreement, the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement will prevail._ The pay range for this position is subject to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The negotiated rate for the Union Engineer position is $105,809.60 annually [or $50.87 per hour].
