Underwriting Support Assistant
Job Description We are seeking a detail‑oriented, highly organized professional to support policy data migration into our new administration system (MAGIC) and assist with the underwriting team’s daily operational and customer service needs. This role follows established processes, ensures data accuracy throughout the migration, and helps underwriters focus on higher‑level decisions and complex risks. The ideal candidate is skilled in data management, attentive to detail, able to prioritize effectively, and comfortable working collaboratively across teams. Key Responsibilities: • Accurately enter, validate, and update policy data from legacy systems into MAGIC, ensuring consistency and compliance. • Identify and escalate data discrepancies or system issues, providing timely updates to project stakeholders. • Support underwriting operations by processing submissions, policy setups, endorsements, and documentation according to established workflows. • Manage routine customer and agent service requests, ensuring all required information and documentation are collected and properly stored. • Serve as a liaison for routine follow‑ups related to renewals, service needs, and outstanding underwriting requirements. • Prioritize work to ensure timely, accurate processing in alignment with compliance, quality, and turnaround standards. • Meet weekly task completion goals to maintain steady progress on migration and underwriting service commitments. Skills and Requirements 1-2 years of experience with: Microsoft office suite (excel, outlook, teams) Data entry, data processing, administrative support  Preferably in insurance or financial services Typing speed of at least 55-65 WPM with minimal errors (there will be an assessment) High School Diploma Bachelors or Associates Horse industry knowledge
