Description We are looking for an Underwriting Program Associate to join our team. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to support our commercial insurance operations, with a focus on middle-market construction underwriting. You will collaborate closely with our Managing General Agent and internal teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across various lines of business. Responsibilities: + Manage the end-to-end monthly General Liability bordereau process, ensuring all deliverables are accurate and completed on time. + Facilitate daily communication and collaboration with operations and underwriting staff to streamline workflows. + Coordinate the processing of Excess lines for new and renewal policies, including accurate data entry into relevant systems. + Update and maintain rate metrics to support data accuracy and reporting needs. + Organize and store policy documentation in electronic files while maintaining data integrity. + Address workers' compensation criticisms by coordinating with relevant teams and resolving issues promptly. + Prepare and submit information for monthly reinsurance transactions to ensure timely and accurate booking. + Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for workers' compensation systems to validate functionality and performance. + Collaborate with collections specialists to resolve premium discrepancies efficiently. + Track large deductible policies and monitor associated claims activity. Requirements • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders. • Proficiency in data entry and documentation management. • Experience with reporting and metric tracking. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Familiarity with commercial insurance processes and terminology. • Ability to collaborate across teams and handle multiple responsibilities. • Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in deliverables. • Prior experience in underwriting or credit analysis is preferred.
