Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Underwriting Assistant to support our Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance underwriting team. The ideal candidate will assist underwriters with policy processing, risk assessment support, documentation, and client service. Utilize technology to rate policy premiums for all new/renew lines, endorsements and cancellations.


Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and technical support to underwriters in the review and processing of insurance applications.Prepare, review, and issue policy documents, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.Perform preliminary risk assessments and identify missing or incomplete information.Enter and maintain accurate data in underwriting and policy management systems.Communicate with brokers, agents, and clients to obtain additional information or resolvediscrepancies.Assist in monitoring policy renewals, deadlines, and compliance requirements.Prepare underwriting files, correspondence, and reports as needed.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely policy issuance.Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.


Requirements:

Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.Excellent computer skills (emailing, computer rating)Provide research and analytical skills to identify, gather and organize informationto provide recommendationsProficiency in Microsoft office applications (particularly, excel, word, and outlook) in PC-windows operating system.Ability to learn new software applications.Proven ability to work with goals.Demonstrated effective communication skills.Multi-lingual in spoken Chinese (mandarin or cantonese)


Education/Experience:
● U.S. BACHELOR DEGREE MINIMUM.

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $20 - $24. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
