The right candidate will provide training, development, and support to the department Underwriters. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Train all new Underwriters on Loan Origination Systems and DHIM policies and procedures * Conduct test case reviews for all new Underwriters and grade them as pass or fail * Performs monthly file audits as per department audit procedures * Perform training and review test cases for new Direct Endorsement & Lender Appraisal Processing Program (LAPP) Underwriter candidates * Provide guideline support and assistance to all Underwriters * Prepare and perform training presentations as needed * Evaluate overall Underwriter performance * Able to work overtime * Able to travel overnight * Update and maintain current training materials * Identify trends in material errors *Required Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and/or three years of underwriting experience * Must have an FHA Direct Endorsement/VA LAPP and Staff Appraisal Reviewer (SARS) * Must have a valid and current Mortgage Loan Originator License as required per state regulations * Proficiency with MS Office and email *Preferred Qualifications* * Strong communication skills * Ability to multi-task and attention to detail Come join a winning team with a Fortune 500 company!
