Applicant must be willing to obtain Armed License in future Role: UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER Patrol & Surveillance + Monitor facility access points; verify IDs and credentials. + Monitor surveillance feeds for signs of threats or breaches. Incident Response & Reporting + Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents using established protocols. + Maintain accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations. + Perform routine tasks: locking/unlocking doors and managing security systems. Customer Service & Policy Enforcement + Assist visitors and employees, address concerns professionally. + Enforce security procedures per Security Post Instructions. + Ensure compliance with SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking). Supervisory Responsibilities: None Required Skills & Abilities: Minimum: + Ability to perform in high-paced, potentially stressful environments. + Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) + Strong situational awareness and curiosity. + Ability to stay calm, problem-solve, and act effectively in critical situations. + Basic computer skills and ability to use a tablet for reporting. Preferred: + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Physical Requirements: + Stand for at least 1 hour without support or break. + Sit for at least 1 hour without break. + Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping. + Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping.
