Through our Give Back program, we own our commitment to Social Responsibility and live our purpose of Packaging a Better Future. **Responsibilities** **Summary:** This position is responsible for all resin handling and assisting Extrusion Operators in maintaining the extrusion machines. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:** + Maintains, operates, and responsible for unloading and handling of resin raw materials and blending, conditioning, mixing and utilization of resin materials in the Una-Dyn room. + Assists in extruding thermoplastic materials. + Tapes end of extruded article to reel spindle and starts machine that winds material onto revolving spindle. + Measures extruded article with measuring wheel and cuts it to specified length, using a knife. + Removes roll from spindle with a forklift and weighs roll on scale. + Accurately records length and weight of roll-on shipping tag. + Saws scrap tubes and rods into lengths for grinding in hammer mill. + Mix thermoplastic materials, according to formula, for feeding extrusion machine. + Housekeeping daily. + Other duties may be assigned. **Qualifications** **Qualifications:** + Must have high school diploma or equivalent. + Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in **Extrusion** . + Must be able to accurately input all formulas and recipes into a computer console. + Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to other departments to meet production goals. **Pactiv Evergreen** is now a part of Novolex.
