Ultrasound Technologist, PRN

Description:

Location: Piedmont Imaging at Kennesaw

Schedule: PRN, As needed

JOB PURPOSE:
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides
patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

None

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

ARDMS registered in at least 1 specialty.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

BLS certified.One (1) year of experience is preferred.Registered ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) is desired
