Position Summary

The Ultimate Hoops Referee assists in the execution of Ultimate Hoops Basketball League by officiating league games. They work closely with league coordinators and players to ensure a respectful and fun Ultimate Hoops experience.   

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Officiates Ultimate Hoops basketball games fairlyFollows and enforces all Ultimate Hoops rules during gamesInteracts with players in a respectful, cooperative mannerWorks closely with League Coordinator to ensure member satisfactionActively promotes Ultimate Hoops and Life Time to members and non-membersArticulates extensive knowledge of Ultimate Hoops and Life Tim programs, products, services, policies and procedures to prospective and current members ​

Position Requirements

High School Diploma or GEDLess than 1 year of experience operating scoreboardsGeneral knowledge of basketball rulesCertified basketball official with local governing body

PayThis position pays a class rate between $25.00 and $60.00, based on experience, qualifications, and duration of the class. The class rate compensates for all working time associated with teaching classes (including without limitation, all time spent in class as well as all pre- and post-class working time).
