Talent Development Enablement and Operations Specialist (VTH) Role Purpose

 

To provide high-quality operational support to the UK&I Talent Development team, with an operational focus on learning deployment, CPD compliance, project execution, and data analytics. The role is pivotal in ensuring process excellence, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-making across the Talent Development function.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Operational Excellence Support the deployment of learning and CPD processes, ensuring compliance and a best-in-class user experience. Manage learner enquiries, exemptions, and feedback loops in collaboration with IBM (DAT), SL Quality teams, and other stakeholders. Maintain and improve documentation, FAQs, and process guidance to reflect evolving ways of working. Manage the BAU activities around internal and external venue sourcing for UKI TD. Document and standardize processes, templates, and SOPs for repeatable excellence.   Project Management

 

Lead and contribute to operational projects aligned with strategic priorities, including vendor coordination and service quality evaluation. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement of learning operations.   Data Analysis & Reporting

 

Collect, organise, and interpret large and varied datasets to produce actionable insights. Perform quality assessments and trend analysis to support CPD compliance and business process improvements. Prepare reports for SL Quality teams and ICAEW inspections, including non-compliance cases and contextual factors (e.g. leave, new joiners). Support governance activities including audit readiness, data integrity checks, and compliance reporting   Financial & Budget Support

 

Assist in financial planning and control activities, summarising key metrics and trends for leadership review. Maintain up-to-date documentation of finance processes and support the Enablement Finance Lead with holistic financial insights.

 

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management

 

Build strong relationships with UK&I Talent Development stakeholders, IBM (DAT), and global learning operations. Coach and support team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Act as the day-to-day contact for third-party vendors (e.g. venue sourcing, print providers), ensuring service quality and process alignment. Query management (CPD, venues, contracting)   Skills & Competencies

 

Advanced Excel skills (including formulae and macros); strong PowerPoint and Word proficiency. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail and deadline discipline. Proactive problem-solving and creative thinking to drive service quality and innovation. Commercial acumen and business awareness. Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and thrive in ambiguous environments. Commitment to acquiring new knowledge and exploring innovative solutions. Experience in coaching, interpersonal engagement, and working across diverse, international teams.  

 

Experience Required

 

Extensive experience in HR operations and learning deployment within professional services or corporate environments. Proven track record in managing operational processes and large datasets. Familiarity with CPD frameworks and compliance reporting. Experience working in global, virtual teams and managing cross-border relationships. Experience of PowerBi or equivalent is a plus.
