As an HR/Payroll Technology Specialist at Spectrum, you will gather requirements, conduct in-depth analysis, and modify configuration tables while coordinating with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
In this pivotal role, you will support various HR applications, perform regular application security audits, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external audit teams, ensuring seamless operations across all HR technology platforms.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide functional and systems assistance for HR and Payroll Technology systems.Create standard functional specifications for production support development and act as a testing resource for production support maintenance requests and issues that arise for HR SystemsPartner with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure accurate data and system performanceAssist in implementing new system features or upgrades, including testing and validationServe as an escalation point for advanced system/technology issues to determine root cause analysis, identifies and implements potential solutions for UKG TimekeepingServe as a HR Functional Team Subject Matter Expert providing knowledge regarding HR, Payroll and Timekeeping SystemsProvide ad-hoc report assistance using query tool and SQL to assist HR Technology leaders, auditors and end users for requests relating to HR, Payroll and Time Keeping SystemsMay be responsible for analyzing mass change requests, identifying and modifying configuration tables, communicating impacts to HR Business Partners, and partnering with various teams to determine a project timelineREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills, Abilities and Knowledge required.
Understanding and demonstrated application of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project methodologyHR Systems experience and payroll using UKG Dimensions (Kronos).Ability to adhere to established processing timeframes and make decisions independentlyExperience with system configuration, troubleshooting, and reporting toolsExperience in continuous process improvement, including technology upgrades and implementationDemonstrated data analysis and analytical capacity and comunication skillsAbility to effectively interact, partner and influence staff in various levels of the organizationHR/Payroll Technology Help Desk knowledge and experienceProven organizational skills and orientation to detailStrategic thinking skills with demonstrated experience developing and implementing solutions to issuesDemonstrated facilitator with a customer service orientation, skilled at leading projects and initiativesDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointRequired Education
