**Base Place of Work**
+ Candidate will be based at 61 Southwark Street London SE1 OHL. However will be required to travel to customer sites within the UK, mainly centred around London and the home counties.
+ Working Days/Contract Type
+ Monday – Friday. This Employment Role is a salaried position.
+ Working Away From Home
+ Candidate must be flexible and be able to work away from home when required sometimes at short notice to facilitate T&T Customer project/operational support requirements.
+ Travel Requirements & Expenses
+ Candidate must be able to use and navigate UK wide public transport as well as having the use of own vehicle to be able to travel to either T&T or CBRE-T&T Customers when required to facilitate Technology Project-Support/Operational Management duties for any required CBRE-T&T Project-Support work across the UK. All travel requirements/expenses will be provided/reimbursed by CBRE-T&T in arrears as per approved CBRE-T&T expenses log app.
+ Reporting Structure
+ Candidate will directly report to – UK Technology Director.
+ Budgetary Responsibilities
+ Candidate will not have any direct budgetary responsibilities themselves, but will assist the Technology Director with customer quotes, estimates, customer account financial queries, Internal CBRE-T&T project financial queries as well as ensuring that all Technology Project-Support financial information is inputted, updated upon the CBRE T&T internal financial related/project/operations related internal systems.
**Key Role Responsibilities**
+ Completing and assisting the UK Technology Director with new or existing technology sales, technology project surveys, estimations, quotations and project/support delivery’s.
+ Completing and assisting the UK Technology Director with technology solutions, designs and implementation.
+ Completing and assisting the UK Technology Director with any required technology operational support.
+ Provide high level technology guidance and support for all members of the CBRE-T&T/ CBRE DCS UK Divisions (Engineering & Management teams) for design, implementation and updating/upgrading software or hardware platforms as well as general technology support (for all supported customer & non-corporate CBRE-T&T/CBRE technology systems).
+ Managing several customer project/support works both directly and in-directly simultaneously.
+ Assisting the UK Technology Director with the provision & implementation of technology management & relevant compliance governance assistance for both CBRE-T&T/CBRE/CBRE Supported Customers across all UK CBRE DCS Business Units.
+ Responsible for being the initial 1st point of escalation/contact for all technology support/information for CBRE T&T/CBRE Senior Key Stakeholders within CBRE as also CBRE local customer site management teams.
+ Responsible for Providing technology support and management for CBRE customer’s platforms and networks and provide innovations as well as improving customer operational solutions via Project implementation/delivery’s.
+ Assisting the UK Technology Director with managing technology related new contracts transitions tasks and assist the transition managers when required.
+ Completing & assisting the UK Technology Director with the completion of any/all technology compliance/project/support documentation in relation to pre/post project/support implementation/delivery (this will include using CBRE-T&T/CBRE provided project and financial software platforms) – Training will be provided where required.
+ Capable of working on simultaneous aggressive deadlines for both CBRE-T&T/CBRE customers as well as internal CBRE-T&T/CBRE staff to ensure of expected Project/support program and project delivery timelines to be adhered to.
+ Capable of continuous triaging of risk assessing/self-prioritising multiple work streams/tasks at once for several areas of the business on an ongoing basis.
+ Capable of facilitating hands on component level technology support for any CBRE-T&T/CBRE Staff and supported CBRE-T&T/CBRE customers in relation to any technology related incidents that are a result of any unforeseen issues that have occurred during a technology project/support delivery.
+ Understanding of technology networks design and functionality from both a cabling & hardware level.
+ Good knowledge and understanding of Windows Server and Windows 10 & 11 Operating systems.
+ Fully capable of understanding and using Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc).
+ Responsible for creating, reviewing, updating , approving various technology project/operational related documentation.
+ Experience with working within Data Centre environments at least 2yrs min.
+ Understanding/general overview of various compliance standards including but not limited to, ISO27001, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO50001, ISO2000 and ensuring that these standards are adhered to at all times when completing project/support work that is being carried out by yourself.
+ Experience working on Security Technology projects delivering any of the following: CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, P.I.D.S, I.D.S new installation, upgrades.
+ Experience with managing Technology Lifecycle support including RMA/ITAD processes.
+ Assisting the UK Technology Director with technology vendor management.
+ Creating customer proposals for new or existing business opportunities.
+ Completing risk analysis and risk management reports based on risk observation/surveys.
+ Creating, reviewing, approving technology related processes and procedures where applicable.
+ Arranging, managing both internal and customer technology related meetings.
+ Awareness of M&E processes and equipment installed within a typical Data Centre environment.
+ Awareness of ITIL V4 and aligned working practices.
+ Completion of Project management project audits when required.
+ Awareness and implementation of Cyber Security support and Information Security risk analysis for CBRE-T&T/CBRE internal staff and CBRE supported customers.
+ Candidate to ensure that they self-develop and keep up with current technology (both general and cyber) industry information and standards to enable CBRE-T&T/CBRE to be able to provide support and guidance to our customers.
**Requirements for this position (High Level).**
+ Min 2yrs working within Data Centre Environment
+ Min 1yrs Technology Projects/Operations/Service Management experience
+ Hands on Understanding of Technology Hardware & Infrastructure to component level
+ Hands on Understanding of Technology Network Infrastructure to component level
+ Broad understanding of the current Technology product market and able to keep up with new technology
+ Technology Project Management experience
+ Awareness of M&E plant equipment with a DC environment (High Level)
+ Candidate able & willing to travel across UK when required (Sometimes at very short notice)
+ Candidate able & willing to work away from home overnight (for up to a minimum of 1 day maximum of 5 days at any one time) if/when required
+ Candidate to have, use or own a legally registered/road worthy road vehicle to enable traveling to either CBRE-T&T/CBRE/CBRE Customer UK wide sites
+ Candidate to have a current valid UK (UK Approved) Driving Licence with no more that 3 points
+ Candidate able to get to work within UK within agreed start times
+ Must be physically fit and able to lift weights up to 25kg
**Candidate Experience**
+ Ideally candidates would have several years working within a technology environment supporting either a Landlord DC environment, a small office environment / desktop end users with general 2nd line incidents relating to local LAN, to have basic knowledge upon security technology with understanding the concepts of CCTV/Access Control, either hold past or present industry standard certifications within the following list below, however this is not essential if the candidate can demonstrate industry skills knowledge upon their CV & Interview (should they be successful in being selected to attend one)
