The Red Hat’sAdvanced Developer Suite(ADS)  team is looking for a Software Engineer to join us in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will join a team that is focused on the User Interfaces for Red Hat’s Advanced Developer Suite product. Our main focus are interfaces and tools for trusted software supply chain pipelines used by our customers and ourselves. The team is distributed and cross-functional. You'll collaborate with software engineers, user experience designers, software quality engineers and other functions to build and support  end-to-end delivery of this product.

As a  Software Engineer you will help us ensure that our solutions meet current demands and anticipate future challenges that drive Red Hat’s secure software supply chain vision forward. You will own and contribute to design and code reviews, and continually drive improvements in our development processes and practices.

Contribute to the development of cloud native developer experienceWork together with the team, UX designers, and Product Owner  to provide the necessary user interfacesWork closely with upstream projects, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to create and maintain high-quality features and capabilities for Red Hat solutionsTake responsibility and ownership of development work and strive to produce quality softwareWork closely with quality and documentation teams ensuring your deliverables are coveredWork in an agile environment and prioritize workload around release schedulesConduct design and code review sessionsEnforce code quality and performanceAnalyze feasibility by presenting proofs of conceptsApply design patterns to solve problemsInvestigate and improve the established development processes

What you will bring

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field or 3+ years industry experienceProven software development experience especially web development related projectsVery good understanding of React.js and JavascriptVery good understanding of TypeScriptProficient in HTML and CSSExperience developing and building scalable web-based applications in cloud environmentsProficient with Linux

The following are considered a plus

Experience with development/build tools like git, webpack, yarn, etcFamiliarity or interest with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms in general
