Why does this role exist?
The team needs a dedicated UI Designer to translate complex app screens and storyboards into clean, motion-ready user interface flows. This role ensures that motion designers receive precise, simplified, and well-structured UI assets, accelerating production timelines and improving quality. You will bridge client inputs (directions, screenshots, full-resolution screens) into clear, usable designs suitable for animation.

The Impact you’ll makeUI Flow Simplification\nConvert complex app screens/storyboards into clear, user-friendly interface flows\nIdentify and remove visual clutter while preserving functional intent and hierarchy\nAnnotate flows for motion readiness (states, transitions, timing cues)\n\n
Motion-Ready Asset Preparation\n\nPrepare components, frames, and layered assets in Figma/Illustrator suitable for After Effects\nEstablish naming conventions, grouping, and export settings for smooth motion handoff\nCreate reusable components and variations to support iterative animation\n\n
Collaboration & Feedback\n\nWork from client directions, screenshots, and full-resolution app screens with high accuracy\nPartner closely with motion designers and creative leads to refine flows and states\nIncorporate feedback quickly while maintaining consistency and design rationale\n\n
Quality & Consistency\n\nMaintain visual consistency across flows (typography, spacing, grids, color tokens)\nPerform accuracy checks against source material before handoff\nDocument decisions and edge cases within files for team clarity\n\n
Workflow & File Management\n\nOrganize projects in Figma and Notion; communicate progress and blockers via Slack\nMaintain tidy file structures, components, and page organization for team use\nTrack versions and ensure the latest approved assets are ready for animation\n
