The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) Engineer with expertise in both Trellix and Tanium to support our DoD customer to implement an enterprise IT service delivery model that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment. 

On this program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DoD customer to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations. As a UEM Engineer, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, optimization, and integration of these platforms to deliver comprehensive endpoint security, visibility, and control across our enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

The Tanium Engineer will be responsible for Trellix and Tanium Platform Management:

Administer, configure, and maintain both Trellix (ePO, ENS, DXL, etc.) and Tanium environments.Plan, execute, and manage upgrades, patching, and maintenance for both platforms.Monitor the health, performance, and security of the Trellix and Tanium infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving issues.Optimize both platforms for scalability, performance, and resource utilization.Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures, and integrations.Develop and maintain policies within Trellix and Tanium to achieve security and operational goals.Perform upgrades, patching, and maintenance of the Tanium platform and its modules.Design, implement, and maintain integrations between Trellix and Tanium to create a unified endpoint management solution.Leverage the strengths of both platforms to enhance endpoint visibility, threat detection, and incident response capabilities.Configure data exchange and communication between Trellix and Tanium using APIs and other integration methods.Automate tasks and workflows across both platforms to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.Troubleshoot integration issues and work to resolve them effectively.Develop custom reports and dashboards to visualize data collected by Tanium and provide actionable insights.Develop custom Trellix policies, rules, and signatures to address specific threat landscapes and security requirements.Develop custom Tanium sensors and packages to collect data, deploy software, and enforce configurations.Create custom reports and dashboards in both Trellix and Tanium to visualize data and provide actionable insights.Automate tasks across platforms (e.g., using Tanium to remediate threats detected by Trellix).Utilize both Trellix and Tanium for threat detection, analysis, and response.Configure and manage threat detection rules and alerts in both platforms.Support security incident response efforts by providing endpoint data, facilitating rapid containment, and automating remediation. 

Qualifications:

Required: 

12+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).Current Secret security clearanceProficiency in Tanium platform and its core modulesStrong scripting abilities (Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting)Solid understanding of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systemsKnowledge of networking concepts and protocolsFamiliarity with endpoint security and management concepts

 Certifications:

Tanium Certified Operator or Administrator (preferred)Relevant security certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP) may be beneficial

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300-$189,600
