Title: UABOS Turkey LN: Janitor Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! Program Summary KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support. Job Summary Primary responsibilities include a variety of cleaning and supplying varied tasks for the upkeep of buildings. Handling base buildings’ overall cleanliness and sanitation. At times, performing other minor maintenance tasks and logistics works as requested by supervisors. Roles and Responsibilities + Ensure that the buildings are clean and clear of any trash. + Performs facility cleaning which includes, but not limited to: maintenance and upkeep of floors (hard surface and carpet); walls/doors; glass surfaces (windows, door glass, skylights, light fixtures, desk glass, etc.); exposed heating and air conditioning units/ducts; toilets (commodes, lavatories, wash basins, mirrors, exposed exhaust fans, walls, floor, to include maintaining and restocking toilets sundries/supplies). + Facility cleaning includes sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, dusting (high/low), water removal (because of flooding), removing trash, and cleaning/sweeping the exterior of building grounds and concrete surfaces (walkways and patios) and other related duties as directed. + Restocks supply closets. + Maintains and updates the cleaning checklists and logs during the shift. + Ensures that the facility and cleaning supply closets are locked and secured. + Reports any major maintenance and cleanliness requirements to the customer. + Maintains all safety standards. + Work uncommon/flexible duty hours (shifts, weekends and holidays). + Physical requirements include lifting up to and including 23 kilos, extended sitting or standing, walking up and down stairs, climb a 2.40-meter step ladder, and working in normal and adverse weather conditions + Work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision. Basic Qualifications + Citizenship: Turkish + High School graduate (must possess diploma). + Shall have three (3) years of general experience. + Valid driver’s license Is required. + English level 1 Preferred Qualifications + Have three (3) years of general housekeeping experience. All positions require the applicant to obtain and pass a medical physical that is certified by a doctor. All positions require a current and favorable Turkish Security background check. All male candidates must have completed their military service.
