Job Description

TV Programming Intern is part of the Programming team reporting to the Program Manager.

Responsible for providing support and administrative assistance across the programming department working on multiple channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Metadata input in to broadcast systemsBuild knowledge of NBCU broadcasts systemsAssist Senior Programmer & Programmer across linear and VOD channelsCreate the Monthly Programming Priorities7Bravo Monthly Picture gridsMonthly Highlights document + distribution to SKY New ZealandSales AU & NZ Calendar updatesMonthly Key Programming Priorities submissionMonthly Oxygen metadata submissionMonthly VOD Priorities for Bravo NZInter-department cross functional tasksEnsure all deadlines are metAssist with ad hoc programming related tasks

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

Strong attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational and time management skillsProactive, accurate, and detail orientedThis part time role requires a 9-month commitment, from February 2026 - November 2026You also MUST include a cover letter stating the month and year you graduate, why you would like to work for NBCUniversal, and what you feel you can bring to the role.  This is an integral of the application process

Currently completing and degree in Media, Communications or similarProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook and Excel in particularAn interest in working in media and developing a career within the broadcast industryAustralian Citizen or Permanent Resident
