Identify and eliminate obsolete or duplicate scope.

Support scope finalization, late scope management, and change control processes.

Work Pack Preparation

Develop comprehensive electrical execution packs in alignment with TAR readiness gates and client procedures.

Work packs must include:

Job method statements (step-by-step procedures).

Material Take-Off (MTO), tools, and equipment list.

P&IDs, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), loop drawings, cable layouts.

Isolation plans (electrical, process, mechanical).

QA/QC hold and witness points.

Testing protocols (IR, continuity, loop checks, functional testing).

Safety, rigging, scaffolding, and lifting plans where required.

Ensure SAP/CMMS is updated with correct task steps, duration, resource codes, and materials.

Ensure compliance with client’s Work Pack Preparation Procedures.

Update SAP/CMMS with relevant details (tasks, resources, durations, equipment codes).

If identified react to change in scope, inform necessary parties and complete the necessary change management documentation.

Material, Tools & Spare Parts Planning

Identify required materials and consumables (e.g., cables, glands, terminations, MCC parts).

Use BOMs, OEM manuals, and field verification to validate materials.

Confirm Required on Site (ROS) dates and coordinate with SCM.

Track availability of critical materials (e.g., junction boxes, light fixtures, control panels, relays, circuit breakers, etc.).

HSE & Risk Assessment

Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA), incorporating HAZOP, HAZID, and site-specific risks.

Address key electrical hazards.Ensure supporting documentation is in place (PTW, isolation certificates, energy control procedures)Comply with all TAR-specific HSE requirements.

Vendor, Resource & Contractor Coordination

Identify and coordinate with specialist electrical vendors & contractors.

Confirm the availability of third-party QA/QC and test equipment.

Confirm contractor readiness (workforce, supervision, permits, mobilization plan).

Support contractor onboarding and briefing sessions.

Schedule Integration & Execution Support

Align work packs with TAR schedule using Primavera (P6).

Identify critical path and high-risk jobs for early execution planning.

Support batching, area/system-based work packaging, and logical sequencing.

Provide field support during execution and closeout activities.

Quality, Data & Change Management

Document lessons learned for repetitive jobs to improve next TAR.
