Chemours is seeking a Turnaround Planner to join our growing TSS team. This position will be available at the Ingleside, Texas site and report directly to the TAR Manager.

The Turnaround Planner is responsible for the effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of plant turnaround (shutdown/outage) activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution. This role involves developing detailed work scopes, estimating resources, preparing schedules, and liaising with stakeholders to minimize downtime and maximize productivity during planned outages.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop, review, and optimize turnaround work scopes in collaboration with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams.Lead worklist reviews, optimization, and contingency planning.Create detailed job plans, including labor, materials, equipment, technical documents, and permits required for each task.Coordinate procurement of materials and services to ensure timely availability.Conduct field walk-downs to validate job scopes, identify potential risks, and ensure work package completeness.Ensure kits are complete and correct and organize and manage kit storage locations – restock unused material at the completion of the TARDetermine on-site and off-site vendor services by entering PM03 operations and long textPrimary interface with all contractor work groups (CCMS, 3rd party, etc.) and vendors to coordinate support for Turnaround activity including clarification for technical requirements and expectations.Update work order status as components are received and kittedMonitor progress during execution, adjust plans as necessary, and provide status updates to leadership.Lead post-turnaround reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future turnaround performance.Maintain accurate documentation and records for all turnaround activities.

The following is required for this role:

At least 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting, with proven familiarity with fixed equipment and piping systems.Self-motivated and proactive – requiring minimum supervisionStrong understanding of operational disciplineGood organization and administrative skills – required to manage various aspects of the positionComputer skills and/or the ability and the willingness to learn additional software packages:Proficient with MicrosoftPossess or able and willing to develop expert level skills in use of SAPMust be able to write requisitions and notifications, create work ordersAbility to communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization as well as to on-site personnel, off-site vendors, subject matter experts, and service representatives both orally and written.Interpersonal and teamwork - Ability to work well with peers, all levels of management, and other work groupsSkills to complete necessary work permits and gate passes, as well as shipping papers including material safety data sheets when needed.Demonstrated ability to sequence job activities, acquire documentation, procure material, use specification references, prepare sketches and maintain records.Read and interpret technical documents - Ability to read and/or interpret technical documents including blueprints, P&ID’s, flow diagrams, and technical manualsMobile equipment - Ability to operate mobile equipment such as forklift and aerial liftRoutinely climbs and descends ladders, stairs, elevated walkways, and ramps using both upper and lower body strength as required.Able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection, steel-toed boots, and other safety gear as needed.Regularly lifts or moves objects weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

The following is preferred for this role:

3-5 years turnaround planning experience in an industrial manufacturing facilityMechanical and/or construction background with experience in industrial manufacturing environmentAbility to learn new skills and work methods, acquire area process knowledge and procedures
