TUI Control Freight Analyst Intern

TUI - (Technical Undergraduate Intern – Students) - Control Freight Analyst Intern 
Iztapalapa, CDMX (Hybrid)


Position Summary
Thales is looking for a TUI (Technical Undergraduate Intern - Student) Customer Experience Intern who will support the validation and processing of transportation invoices, cost center assignment, and communication with logistics providers. The role offers professional development in logistics, international trade, finance, and administrative operations, contributing to efficient financial and operational processes within the logistics department.


Key Areas of Responsibility

Validate invoices for local and international transportation, courier services, and customs agents.Record and validate freight invoices for special projects and import invoices with customs agents.Review supplier account statements and ensure compliance with agreed transportation rates from tenders or spot quotations.Assign cost centers to each shipment accurately, improving efficiency in this manual process.Upload invoice data into databases and assign to appropriate cost centers for finance processing.Prepare control reports for transport supplier invoices and shipment plans.Maintain close communication with suppliers and internal clients to facilitate negotiations and resolve discrepancies.

Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program related to Economic and Administrative areas such as Business Administration, International Trade, or related fields.Availability to participate in the program a minimum of a year and a half.Availability to Work 30 hours per week in a Hybrid Scheme.Intermediate English proficiency, oral and written.Proficiency in Excel, particularly working with databases and pivot tables.Strong communicator and negotiator, analytical, results-oriented, customer-oriented, a strong time manager, autonomous, honest, and empathetic, negotiation skills to interact with suppliers, strong focus on helping customers and ensuring their satisfaction.
