TS/SCI RF Engineer
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Radio Frequency Engineer to lead a team of 7 people. This person will grow the team and lead them to expand into taking on innovating work and technologies. The work will be a mix of hands-on signal analysis and collection as well as oversight. Compensation: $66.50/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Skills and Requirements -Active TS/SCI -BS in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related technical field and 5-7 years of directly related experience -Experience leading technical teams in RF analysis and signal characterization -Strong understanding of radio technologies including DMR, MANET, and common COTS radio systems -In-depth knowledge of RF protocols, modulation techniques, and signal characteristics -Solid foundation in RF and antenna theory including propagation, link budgets, and system performance -Expertise in signals analysis methodologies and digital signal processing concepts -Proficiency with RF test and measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal analyzers -Ability to interpret complex RF data and communicate findings effectively -Experience with software defined radio platforms such as HackRF, Ettus USRP, or similar devices for signal capture and analysis -Familiarity with GNU Radio or similar frameworks for signal processing and analysis -Knowledge of encryption technologies and their impact on RF signals -Experience analyzing RF systems used in unmanned platforms such as UAS, UGV, or USV -Background in defense or government communications systems analysis -Experience characterizing RF propagation in challenging environments -Knowledge of advanced signal detection and analysis techniques -Familiarity with automated RF testing and measurement procedures
