Job Description We are seeking an experienced Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Systems Administrator to join our team at a senior or subject matter expert (SME) level. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing and securing RHEL environments, implementing automation, and supporting cloud-based solutions. This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal guidance and provide leadership in complex technical environments. Key Responsibilities Administer, configure, and maintain RHEL systems in enterprise environments. Manage and optimize Puppet Enterprise and Red Hat Satellite for configuration management and patching. Implement and maintain containerized applications and orchestration solutions. Support cloud technologies, including AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, ensuring secure and efficient deployments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring high availability and performance. Develop and maintain system documentation, processes, and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure, scalable solutions. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff when necessary. Skills and Requirements -Active TS/SCI or Top Secret with SCI eligibility -Security+ CE Certification -Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red -Hat Certified System Engineer (RHCSE) -Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in: RHEL system administration, Puppet Enterprise, Red Hat Satellite -Proven experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) -Experience with automation scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible). -Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. -Strong understanding of security hardening and compliance standards.
