Job Description Insight Global is looking to hire a DevSecOps Engineer in the Reston, VA area. On a day-to-day basis, this individual will be responsible for supporting the deployment and management of secure, mission-critical on-premises infrastructure platforms. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Deploying, managing, and troubleshooting RKE2 Kubernetes clusters - Integrating and supporting on-premises infrastructure components - Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code - Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and workflow automation - Implementing monitoring, observability, and container security solutions - Supporting STIG compliance and hardening of Linux/RHEL systems - Assisting with security scans, vulnerability remediation, and compliance reporting (FISMA, NIST) - Collaborating with development and infrastructure teams Compensation: $70.52/hr to $81.73hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Skills and Requirements - Active TS/SCI security clearance - Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field - Strong overall Kubernetes experience, especially with RKE2 in on-premises datacenter deployments - 3+ years of experience with RHEL administration - Infrastructure as Code experience with Ansible - CI/CD pipeline experience, specifically using GitLab and Jenkins - Strong experience scripting from scratch with Python or Bash - Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions with Prometheus and Grafana - Working knowledge of STIG requirements and implementation - Familiarity with federal compliance standards and security frameworks (such as FISMA, NIST, etc.) - Understanding of security scanning tools and processes - Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISSP, or GSEC certification - RHCSA certification
