A North Shore firm is looking for an experienced Trusts & Estates associate attorney to be based in their Northbrook, IL office. This is a great opportunity to work with a highly sophisticated team and work on complex, leanly staffed matters.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ years of experience in Trusts and Estates law, including estate planning, trust administration, and probate.

Responsibilities:

Handle trust and estate administration matters, including asset collection, valuation, basis updating, and distribution.Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including tax minimization, creditor protection, accomplishing family goals, etc.Draft various estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and more complex documents when required.Preparation of gift and estate tax returns.Represent clients in probate proceedings and provide guidance through the probate process.
