**JOB SUMMARY:**
The Truck Owner Team Leader I is responsible for the overall technical training, scheduling and support to the Customer Prep team.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
+ Lead the truck owner team, Customer Prep
+ Publish and maintain technical trouble shooting guides
+ Train, coach, and mentor team members on troubleshooting and repair processes
+ Lead day-to-day activities within their Customer Prep team to ensure that customer acceptance schedules are achieved
+ Lead team-based process improvement activities
+ Create Customer Prep team schedules
+ Collect and analyze quality data to improve processes and develop training
+ Communicate with customers and have open discussions about issues with the product
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ High School Diploma or its equivalent
+ One (1) or more years of related experience
+ Leadership experience
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Three (3) or more years of experience at Pierce Manufacturing
+ Experience in lean manufacturing principals such as value streams, 5S, 7 general types of waste, and project planning
+ Capable of utilizing Microsoft Excel
