Job Description
If you are a detail-oriented technical person, consider becoming U-Haul’s newest Truck Development Specialist. In this role, you will be constantly learning about and improving truck and trailer designs, identifying areas for improvement and coordinating with a wide variety of team members to accomplish them.
Duties:
Review diagnostics for accuracy and completeness of failed engines, transmissions and axles.
Recommend additional testing and data collection if needed.
Collaborate with repair facility and advanced diagnostic team.
Approve orders for engine, transmission and axles.
Review engine, transmission and axle requests for equipment with multiple replacements.
Document failures for quality control.
Qualifications:
3-5 years repair and diagnostics experience.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Must be flexible and have a positive attitude.
Ford and/or GM factory training is a plus.
U-Haul Master Technician is a plus.
