Our Analysts perform critical functions throughout the entire transaction process, from helping to prepare clients for market, engaging with potential buyers, and facilitating due diligence to ultimately closing the deal. The position offers substantial opportunities to gain financial and technical expertise, professional development, and upward mobility, while taking on a substantial amount of responsibility in transaction execution, client management, and new business development. 

 

General Responsibilities

Preparing, analyzing, and explaining historical and projected financial information

Assisting in the preparation of financial models and business valuations

Conducting industry and company-specific business due diligence

Creating client marketing presentations, memoranda, and deliverables

Attending client meetings

Drafting and collaborating on pitch presentations and associated materials

Developing an understanding of the underlying trends that affect the Healthcare industry

Coordinating, researching, and creating industry market research publications

Assisting in the development and continued cultivation of client, prospective client, and professional advisor relationships

Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills

Knowledge of general accounting and finance principles

Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication, and writing skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for excellence

 

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Military Experience 

At least 1 year of investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or public accounting experience
 

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics

FINRA Licenses - 63, 79, SIE

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

New York, NY: $110,000 - $120,000 for Analyst, Mergers and Acquisitions

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
