**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **An Opportunity to Join our Remarkable Care Team in the** **Trinity Elite** **Department awaits YOU!!!!** **JOB SUMMARY** The Athletic Trainer develops, implements, and maintains comprehensive health care programs for patients, clients, and athletes. The practice of athletic training includes injury/illness prevention and wellness protection, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate and emergency care, treatment and rehabilitation, and organizational and professional health and well-being of individuals under the direction of a physician. **Licensure:** + Current State of Michigan Licensed Athletic Trainer + Membership in or eligibility for membership in National Athletic Trainers Association, preferred + Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification **Experience** : + Experience and demonstrated competence/independence in handling challenging case load of patients and clients for physical therapy rehabilitative care and sports performance training, preferred. + Collegiate Athletic Experience, preferred. + Professional or Collegiate Training experience, preferred. **Our Commitment** Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
