ResponsibilitiesWho are you?
The Triage Specialist provides administrative assistance to nurse case managers.
In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:
Review referrals to identify possible high dollar concerns and case management needs, upload case referrals for potential case managementCreate cases in a computer software programAccurate Stop Loss notification for potential high dollar claimsProvide admin support to assigned nursesMonitor cases under high dollar case type; close cases in a timely manner when no further needs are identifiedPerform accurate data entry and maintain complete and detailed documentation of case information in the software computer systemsBe able to meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time requirements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basisAbility to meet metrics monthlyRegular and predictable attendance and punctualityYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Medical terminology course preferredPrior experience in customer service and/or medical backgroundPrior insurance and/or claims backgroundPrior experience in a medical front office or hospital patient intake, medical claims processing, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAssociate degree preferred in business, management, or related field
