JOB SUMMARY
Work Shift: Mon - Thurs 7:00 pm - 5:00 am. Mostly remote position with occasional on-site presence. **Candidates must reside in Wisconsin**
The Triage Coordinator supports and assists radiology imaging within a busy work environment. This position has multiple service responsibilities including maintaining patient confidentiality at all times, patient registration, and answer/screening incoming telephone calls using proper telephone etiquette, locate, send and retrieve films for comparison and/or readings. The Triage Coordinator is an essential link in communication between radiology imaging and clinical imaging with internal and outside medical groups/facilities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: None
Preferred/Optional: Post-high school courses in medical area such as health unit coordinator or medical office procedures preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and body structure preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: One to two years previous experience in a medical setting required. Computer keyboarding experience required.
Preferred/Optional: Previous data entry experience preferred.
