Job Description

The Treasury Manager will establish and lead the company's treasury function, creating the processes, systems, and controls needed to optimize liquidity, manage financial risk, and support rapid growth. As this is a first-time hire for the role, the individual must be capable of building the function from scratch while delivering immediate results in cash management, working capital, debt compliance, M&A treasury integration, fleet management, and insurance program oversight.

Responsibilities

Establish and lead the treasury function from inception.Create and implement treasury policies, controls, and reporting systems.Optimize liquidity and manage financial risks effectively.Deliver immediate results in cash management and working capital.Ensure compliance with debt covenants and manage M&A treasury integration.Oversee fleet management and property & casualty insurance programs.

Essential Skills

5+ years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or a related role.Proven ability to create and implement treasury policies from scratch.Strong knowledge of cash flow forecasting, bank administration, and debt compliance.Experience with treasury integration during M&A transactions.Excellent relationship management skills with banks and internal stakeholders.High proficiency in Excel and treasury management tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with hedging strategies, including interest rate risk and derivatives.Experience in a growth-stage or mid-sized company is preferred.Ability to design scalable processes while handling day-to-day details.Understanding of how treasury decisions impact business growth and profitability.Ability to work seamlessly with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, and external partners.Clear communication skills to engage effectively with CFO, CEO, PE partners, and lenders.

Work Environment

This is a fully onsite role located in Chesterfield, VA. The company is consistently growing through mergers and acquisitions, having acquired 11 companies this year and currently over $130 million in annual revenue. With more M&A's on the horizon, they are projected to reach $230 million by next year. The role provides an opportunity to partner with executive leadership onsite.
