Ford and SK On are investing billions in Kentucky and Tennessee including building three state-of-the art battery manufacturing facilities between the two campuses at BlueOval City in Tennessee and BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky. These brand-new advanced manufacturing facilities will use Ford’s 100-years of automobile manufacturing expertise and SK On’s 30+ years of electric vehicle battery expertise to become the world’s best battery manufacturer.
The Treasury Manager position at BlueOval SK will have a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, launching the facility from ground up.
BlueOval SK is seeking Treasury talent capable to lead this critical investment of capital in the EV revolution and partner with our parent organizations and customers. An individual willing to take on the challenge of building something new and to proactively develop, communicate, and implement the best solutions will find an enjoyable and rewarding experience in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Work as an integral part of BlueOval SK's broader Finance teamLead corporate finance activities, including loan covenants and reporting, advising the company on all applicable requirements related to federal fundingManage and develop team of remote treasury analysts performing daily cash reconciliations, payables, receivables, and other treasury operationsOversee cash and liquidity management, including rolling 52-week cash forecast, capital funding, daily cash operations, and investment of excess cashMaintain bank account structure, bank relationships, electronic API connections, and associated bank feesCoordinate the monetization of federal green energy tax credits under the Inflation Reduction ActImprove treasury data, analytics, and reporting to drive KPI’s and best in class operations across the finance organizationHelp evaluate and model future financing options and business casesWork with treasury, as well as other functional groups, to perform accurate budgeting and reporting of treasury-related costsEnsure treasury compliance with internal controls and company policiesCapabilities Required

At least 5-7 years’ experience with key treasury responsibilitiesBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldStrong analytical skills including Finance/Treasury business acumenSelf-driven with an ability to strategically solve problems and thrive in a dynamic environmentAbility to manage detail while supporting multiple tasks and critical deadlinesExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong excel skillsPreferred Qualifications and Key Experiences
