Kforce has a client in Columbia, MD that is seeking a Treasury Manager. Responsibilities: * Serving as Treasury (Cash Management) module business process specialist, effectively managing daily cash position process, managing company bank accounts and related cash General Ledger (GL) accounts , preparing cash forecast, and monitoring/maintaining ample liquidity * Serving as the secondary required Signature Authority on bank accounts and managing system user access and authorizations * Serving as the secondary contact for ACH and check Positive Pay discrepancies, acting as an able decision point for ACH/check release * Ensuring regular reconciliation and documentation of assigned cash GL accounts to bank statements as well as non-cash GL accounts assigned by General Accounting for monthly review and sign-off * Investigating and resolving any discrepancies of actual cash activity in bank, loan or investment accounts and related GL accounts * Reviewing detailed bank account fees on monthly basis for accuracy and compare to budget. * Preparing annual budget estimate of bank fees, borrowing facility fees and short-term interest expense and income * Ensuring completeness and accuracy of all cash transactions and bank systems * Capturing ongoing business needs/requirements in order to recommend and/or implement improvements to cash processes and procedures to obtain maximum efficiency and effort * Interacting with Energy Harbor business units regarding initiatives and special projects which may require detailed analysis with recommendations
