The Liquidity Analyst will be a part of the Global liquidity team and will be responsible for performing analysis & modelling for global liquidity strategy, monitoring recycling of cash from emerging markets, monitoring timely settlement of intercompany invoices, providing guidance on exchange control regulations, and supporting the liquidity operations team in optimizing liquidity in the LATAM region.  

As the Liquidity Treasury Analyst, will have the following responsibilities for the overall Baker Hughes company: 

Supporting analysis and modelling for the establishing the global liquidity strategy and planning for company, including internal funding models.  Partnering with the tax team to plan & execute structured transactions to repatriate cash to the US to ensure sufficient liquidity for capital allocation.  Establishing a playbook for emerging markets that outlines capital control restrictions and associated processes to drive repatriation of cash from emerging markets to cash pool. Supporting liquidity operations team in managing day to day liquidity in the LATAM regions and optimizing liquidity in the region. Supporting in establishing an annual plan for repatriating cash from emerging markets by executing dividends and other transactions, lead execution and provide periodic reporting. Monitoring timely settlement of inter-company invoices to ensure recycling of cash, partner with inter-company COE and other teams to minimize aging.  Providing guidance to the commercial finance teams on key emerging markets to ensure compliance with capital control restrictions & minimize trapped cash for the company.  Supporting in managing local legal entity capital structure, manage surplus cash investing, cash repatriation (e.g. dividend distribution) and cross border funding, intercompany lending & netting. Supporting treasury projects such as Mergers & Acquisitions and LER (Legal entity rationalization).

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

Bachelors in finance or accounting from an accredited university or college and 3+yrs of liquidity management experience.Excellent communication skills in various forms, including verbal, written and presentational. Managing relationships; able to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people at all levels both internal and external. Professional language skills in Portuguese and/or Spanish preferred for managing LATAM region
