We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Treasury Manager to support our business development and M&A initiatives. This role will serve as a key liaison with business development teams and advisor to senior leadership. Key objectives are to provide critical insights and execution on due diligence, deal structures and SWOT analysis, and driving forward post-deal integration or carve-outs. The ideal candidate will bring treasury expertise related to business development, strong finance and business acumen, highly organized with a collaborative mindset to help drive the company’s growth strategy.
As a Treasury Leader, will have the following responsibilities:
Managing the primary relationship between Treasury, Treasury functional teams and Baker Hughes Mergers and Acquisitions team.Identifying key treasury areas in acquisitions and divestments, organizing efforts cross-functionally to support the success of the transactionBeing the key point of contact for due diligence on confidential transactions with the business development teamsActing as a liaison between treasury, legal, tax, IT, and external advisors (banks, consultants) to align integration efforts.Facilitating communication between internal teams and acquired entities to ensure smooth transitions including transition services agreementsSupporting the design of the post-merger capital structure, including debt issuance or refinancing.Ensuring sufficient liquidity is available to support integration and ongoing operationsDeveloping and execute Day 1 readiness plans for treasury systems, bank accounts, and cash management processes.Helping to rationalize and consolidate banking structures, cash pools, and treasury platforms post-merger working closely with Treasury Systems leadFuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA, CPA or CFA preferred.8+ years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, investment banking, or corporate finance.Demonstrated experience supporting M&A transactions and capital markets activities.Understanding of corporate financial instruments, capital structure, and risk management.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in financial modeling and treasury systems (e.g., Kyriba, SAP, QuantumWorking with us
