The Treasury Analyst reports to the Treasury Manager and is responsible for assisting store bank account administration, reporting, and analysis of store cash delivery channels. You will support various team projects and coordinate with vendors to implement and maintain payment solutions. Your attention to detail, ability to work independently, and critical thinking skills will be essential for this role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for opening new store bank accounts, and performing store bank changes, including the set-up of deposit services for the stores and reconciliation system updates.Responsible for updating authorized signers on store bank accounts and performing online portal maintenance.Responsible for consolidating and closing of store bank accounts, including coordination of account closure within reconciliation system and general ledger.Support the implementation of new payment solutions and processes by performing process walkthroughs, creating process flows, and documenting operating procedures.Maintain consolidated list of store bank accounts and track store bank openings, changes, and closings to communicate with Accounting.Assist in project management for the implementation of a new payment solution, ensuring timely delivery and coordination among stakeholders.Facilitate training and onboarding for business users to integrate new payment solutions and processes into their job functions and tasks.Performs reporting on payment solutions to understand trends with payment activity and identify processing issues, effectiveness of solutions to meet needs of the business, and for anomalies to processing that may present increased risk to the business.Coordinates with vendors regarding issues within the payment environment, to raise any issues or needs of the business to gain needed resources.Manage daily communication between Store Operations and Treasury, facilitating requests and communicating resolutions, in a timely manner.Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma requiredPreferred: Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Finance or related business fieldMinimum 2 years related Business Operations and/or Finance/Banking experienceProficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Intermediate Excel skills. Banking portal experience is a plusExcellent communication skills with the ability to work across different teams and functionsWell-developed organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlinesProject management skills and ability to coordinate with cross-function teamsEffectively responds to change and is comfortable with ambiguity; manages conflicting prioritiesProactive approach to assignments with the ability to work independentlyPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
