Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee cash management operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and bank relationship management to optimize working capital.
- Conduct detailed analyses of cash movements and financial statements to identify trends and variances that might impact financial strategies.
- Coordinate daily treasury operations, ensuring proper funding and monitoring financial instruments such as debt and foreign exchange.
- Prepare and present reports on treasury activities, cash positions, and forecasts to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
- Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures that align with corporate goals, risk management, and compliance requirements.
- Engage in the analysis and execution of financing options, assessing the cost of capital, and providing recommendations for strategic funding.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting, risk management, and corporate finance, to proactively address any treasury-related issues.
- Stay abreast of market trends and changes in regulations that may affect treasury operations and advise management accordingly.
- Participate in the implementation of treasury management systems and technology to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (CTP, CFA) is a plus.
- 6 to 8 years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting roles with a strong understanding of cash management principles.
- Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and conducting variance analysis to drive informed decisions.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems, ERP software, and advanced Excel; familiarity with financial databases is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to self-manage and prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong understanding of global financial instruments, risk management strategies, and regulatory compliance in treasury operations.
