Treasury Administrator's Job Description: 

The Treasury Administrator position is an entry-level position in Financial Administration - Treasury Operations, providing exposure to Cash, Investment, Debt Manager and other Treasury functions.  Additionally, this role will support critical Treasury Operations such as Strategic Investment Fund, Planned-Giving reporting, and Trust activity. 
 
The position involves extensive cross functional collaboration, working with Schools and Departments and external financial partners including bankers and financial advisors. The treasury administrator will also attend executive level meetings and provide accurate and confidential documentation. Confidentiality is paramount, and accurate and brisk written communications are critical. 

Responsibilities: 

Perform a variety of professional, administrative, and operational duties that facilitate the day-to-day operations of Treasury. 

Monitor the Salesforce queue, manage inquires, and ensure timely resolution. 

Download monthly statements from banking and investment institutions. 

Process Journal Entries, Ad Hoc Payments, and other Workday transactions. 

Analyze existing folders, policies, and procedures, identifying efficiencies and recommending improvements. 

Provide administrative support for financial operations, including Treasury reporting and strategic initiatives. 

Compile reports and provide support to the Treasury team. 

May be responsible for the administration of budgets and coordination of personnel matters. 

Resolve problems that have a significant impact on the overall goals of the department. 

Serve as a liaison between Treasury and internal/external stakeholders, representing the department in meetings and committees. 

Identify opportunities for process improvements, conduct research, and propose innovative solutions. 

Perform other duties as assigned. 

Experience Preferred: 

Technology Skills: Experience with Salesforce, Workday, Qlik, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) is preferred. 

Required Qualifications: 

Education: Bachelor's degree. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 

Experience: Minimum of two years of relevant administrative or financial operations experience (three or more years preferred). 

Physical Demands: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job occasionally requires walking some distance to attend meetings and programs.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills – Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to present financial concepts to various audiences. 

Project Management – Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently. 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement – Experience working cross-functionally within an organization. 

Anticipated Hiring Range: $50,000.00-$61,000.00 depending on experience and qualifications.
