Position Summary
The Treasury Accountant will play a critical role in managing the financial activities related to cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk management within the company. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of treasury operations and financial regulations.Role and Responsibilities
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor and manage daily cash flow activities, ensuring optimal liquidity and efficient use of funds.Prepare and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts and reports.Treasury Operations:
Bank account management including daily/weekly/monthly bank report, bank transaction posting & reconciliation.Coordinate with banks and financial institutions to execute transactions including payments, collections, and foreign exchange operations.Treasury master data management including bank authorization, dealing mandate, master data creation for Bank group/ Bank Key/ House bank/ Account IDVendor master data management follow company policies & procedures.Risk Management:
Identify and assess financial risks such as currency fluctuations, interest rate changes, and credit risks.Implement strategies to mitigate identified risks in collaboration with the treasury team.Compliance and Controls:
Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements related to treasury operations.Conduct regular reviews of treasury processes to identify areas for improvement.Audits:
Support internal and external audits by preparing treasury data and responding to audit requests.Join internal audit/compliance/tax task force team as per management request.Join company inventory checking/fixed assets checking/scrapping event as per management request.Stakeholder Communication:
Communicating accounting information to management and other stakeholders, participating in cross-functional projects and initiatives.Skills and Qualifications
• Develops professional expertise by complying with company policies and procedures
• Works on problems of moderate scope where analyzing situations or data requires a review on various factors
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
• Normally receives general instructions on routine work with detailed instructions on new projects or assignments
• Generally requires a bachelor's degree with a minimum 2 years related experience, or advanced degree without experience
