Treasury Accountant

Profile Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with hands-on exposure to treasury operations, cash management, supplier reconciliations, and cash forecasting. Prior experience in consulting firms or service-oriented companies is considered a strong asset. Proven ability to collaborate across departments (e.g., operations, sales) and manage payment flows, bank relationships, and internal procedures. Skilled in preparing cashflow forecasts, managing cash surpluses, handling loan drawdowns and repayments, and producing ALM reports or documentation for funding requests. Advanced proficiency in English, with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. Intermediate Excel skills, attention to detail, integrity (especially in handling payments and financial data), and strong organizational abilities to manage approval workflows.  

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and forecast cashflow, monitor payment approval flows, and execute payments via online banking platforms. Ensure payment accuracy by cross-verifying with reports from related departments. Manage the payment approval process efficiently. Prepare treasury-related reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Maintain and develop relationships with banking partners. Implement and oversee internal controls related to treasury operations. Record financial transactions in compliance with local accounting regulations. Perform monthly reconciliations with suppliers and clients to ensure accurate debt tracking. Participate in financial year-end closing activities and inventory operations. Provide accounting support and prepare reports for regulatory authorities and management. Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors.  

Skills & Competencies:

Strong command of MS Office, especially Excel. Analytical thinking and attention to detail. Planning and organizational skills. Team spirit and effective communication. Knowledge of financial and accounting legislation. Client-oriented approach and ability to meet deadlines. Advanced English proficiency.
