Traveling Maintenance Millwright – Fremont, NE (Eastern Nebraska)

This is a full-time, Salary Non-Exempt Position
This position is expected to perform corrective and predictive maintenance at 12 grain receiving locations across eastern Nebraska, Iowa and southwest Minnesota. Applicants can expect 10% of the work to be overnight travel. Transportation from homebase and all travel expenses will be covered by ADM. Applicants will be given flexibility to base out of one of the eastern Nebraska locations with the preference being to base out of Fremont, NE.
Job Responsibilities: Perform non-scheduled & preventive maintenance of grain handling equipment and buildingsPerform and direct installation/revision of plant and facility equipment, with aide of lower-level mechanics or contractorsTroubleshoot electrical and electronic controls of plant equipment and facility systems. PLC, HMI, PC, etc.Fabricate fixtures and equipment from drawings or conceptsAbility to utilize CMMS software. Responsible for recording maintenance activities and parts usageProficient in the maintenance of electrical, piping and fluid pumping systems.Demonstrate proficiency in additional maintenance functions (i.e. welding, HVAC, control circuits or fabrication)The ability to use basic maintenance testing and measuring equipmentThe ability to read and understand blueprints and other technical materialsAssist in identifying and sourcing components need to correct mechanical break downs.Maintain and organize ADM provided tools and service truckJob Requirements: Five years of hands-on maintenance experience, formal training in related technical areas desiredPreference will be given to applicants with grain handling equipment experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be able to communicate with various levels of the organization. Must be a self-starter and use their own initiative in resolving issuesCapability to be self-motivated and have the ability to collaborate in a teamMust maintain a valid driver’s licensePrior experience driving a forklift and working in a manufacturing environmentMust be flexible and available for off-duty emergency or unplanned work during schedule interruptions Applicants must be comfortable working at heights.Applicants can expect to work primarily outside in hot and cold environmentsApplicants must be able to perform confined space entriesOvertime will be required primarily during the fall harvest months and as needed for breakdowns the rest of the year.Commercial Drivers License is not required, however the applicant must be able to pass a DOT physical.Applicants are required to adhere to and promote all safety programs, policies and procedures.Excited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
