The Traveling Housekeeping Standards Manager is responsible for auditing and ensuring operational compliance with Disney Cruise Line’s operational housekeeping standards across the fleet. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, organization, and service excellence through detailed inspections, Crew and Leaders knowledge and dedicated reporting. Extensive travel is required to conduct inspections, provide feedback, and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives. **Responsibilities** + Conduct audits of shipboard Housekeeping Operations, including Guest staterooms, public areas, Crew accommodations, laundry facilities, pool service operation and all equipment. + Assess operational compliance with safety standards, SMS policies, and operational protocols, providing thorough reports with observations and areas for improvement. + Evaluate onboard job training (OJT) and coaching sessions of the Housekeeping Leadership to ensure understanding and adherence to established procedures. + Support the maintenance and regular updates of the Lodging Operating Guidelines (LOG) by verifying accuracy, application, and effectiveness in daily operations. + Monitor the execution of critical housekeeping tasks, including: + Linen and terry care, inventory tracking, and par stock management. + Stateroom amenities setup and public area cleanliness. + Equipment usage and chemical handling procedures. + Follow up on audit findings and assist shipboard leaders in executing corrective actions to maintain operational standards. + Support the Housekeeping Team during dry dock periods and new build projects to ensure operational readiness and alignment with quality standards. + Provide structured feedback and findings and reports to Housekeeping Leadership to promote consistency and accountability across the fleet. **Basic Qualifications** + 3+ years of experience in housekeeping operations, with a focus on audits, inspections, or compliance reviews. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured audit and compliance procedures. + Experience supporting multi-site operations, including quality assurance and operational consistency. + Proficiency in analyzing operational data, identifying trends, and generating actionable reports. + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. + Knowledge of cleanliness and safety standards. + Ability to travel regularly between ships, new build sites, and dry dock locations to audit, observe practices and support operational readiness.
