What You'll Do
You will join BCG Milan Travel & Procurement Team, primarily supporting data analysis and reporting activities related to the Travel function. You will work closely with senior colleagues, under the supervision of the Travel & Procurement Senior Manager, and cooperate with several corporate functions (e.g. Global Travel Team, Compliance, HR, etc.) and external vendors (e.g. travel agencies).
You are good at:
Managing and analyzing travel-related data (e.g. top spenders, expense breakdowns, out-of-policy reports) through Excel and pivot tables;Ensuring data accuracy, checking invoice compliance and consistency of project codes;Preparing structured reports to support internal stakeholders and identify potential cost optimization;Monitoring supplier compliance and employee travel behavior based on internal guidelines;Supporting internal training and providing guidance to employees on the correct use of self-booking tools;Contributing to new and ongoing travel-related projects with a proactive and analytical mindset.What You'll Bring
University degree (completed or ongoing) in Economics, Statistics, or a related analytical field, or relevant prior internship/work experience;Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in Italian and English (C1);Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, structured analysis) and strong proficiency in MS Office;Analytical thinking and attention to detail;Cooperative attitude and team-working mindset;Open-minded, proactive and solution-oriented approach;Nice to have: basic understanding of the travel industry, travel booking systems or corporate travel processes.Boston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
