Position: Travel Manager – Corporate Travel & Mobility

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Travel Category Lead & Mobility Manager to join our team at Siemens India. This role is pivotal in driving cost efficiency, sustainability, and service excellence across all areas of corporate travel, mobility, and related procurement functions.

You will oversee end-to-end strategy and operations across airlines, hotels, visas, events, employee transportation, fleet services, and corporate cards. This includes managing vendor relationships, optimizing travel spend, enhancing employee experiences, and aligning programs with Siemens' sustainability and compliance goals.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor & Contract Management:

·       Lead sourcing and negotiation for airlines, hotels, visa agencies, event organizers, fleet vendors, and gifting partners

·       Drive commercial and service-level discussions for employee transportation and event management

·       Administer the corporate card program, ensuring policy compliance and efficiency in usage

Fleet & Mobility Management:

·       Manage employee transport contracts and route optimization

·       Spearhead the EV transformation by integrating electric vehicles and charging infrastructure

·       Implement and manage fleet tracking and analytics tools

Employee Support & Operations:

·       Serve as a point of contact for employees on travel-related queries and escalations

·       Drive satisfaction through seamless mobility and travel experiences

Cost Optimization & Budgeting:

·       Analyze spend data to identify savings opportunities

·       Partner with internal stakeholders to drive travel efficiencies and budget control

Sustainability & Compliance:

·       Implement sustainable travel initiatives (low-emission travel, green vendors, EV integration)

·       Ensure adherence to Siemens' procurement policies and ESG guidelines

Policy Development & Governance:

·       Collaborate with HR and global teams to define and update travel policies

·       Ensure local compliance and alignment with Siemens Energy global standards

Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting:

·       Work with HR, Finance, and Procurement to align on strategy and delivery

·       Present reports to senior leadership on savings, compliance, and sustainability impact

·       Track industry developments and emerging technologies in travel and mobility

Qualifications & Skills

✔ 7–10 years of experience in corporate travel procurement or mobility services, preferably in large or matrixed organizations

✔ Proven track record in vendor negotiation, strategic sourcing, and cost management

✔ Strong understanding of corporate travel ecosystems – airlines, accommodation, transport, cards, and visa services

✔ Experience with EVs, fleet technologies, and sustainability initiatives

✔ Skilled in executive reporting and data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, SAP, etc.)

✔ Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

✔ Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and strategic impact
