Department Summary:

MITRE’s Finance Business Operations is seeking to hire a Travel and Expense Analyst to support our well-established Travel and Expense team. The ideal candidate will possess experience with Concur configurations, processing and auditing employee travel and expense reports, attention to detail, travel vendor management experience, and strong customer service skills.

You will report to the Travel and Expense Lead and will serve as a trusted business partner with internal customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Serve as a Concur administrator with site configuration enhancementsProcess and reconcile expense reportsCustomer service liaison for travel and expense related problemsEnsure data meets all tax and government requirements for reporting purposesPartner with our TMC and corporate card issuer to resolve issues and optimize program performanceDevelop user training, job aids, and SOPs to support change management and drive adoptionAssist in hosting T&E educational & trainings sessions

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.3+ years’ experience in travel and expense reimbursement processes and servicesSAP Concur Travel & Expense experience requiredStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Power point and Word.Proven accounting and financial capabilities.Evidence of exceptional abilityAble to work independently with little instruction in a highly organized mannerInnovative and able to thrive in a high paced environmentAdaptable to changeExtensive experience in process documentationMust have excellent communication skillsProactive and timely problem solverThis position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site

Preferred Qualifications:

Government travel regulations understanding (JTR, FAR, CFR)Audit and risk monitoring: experience with Detect/Oversight; fraud detection and duty-of-care/traveler risk programsTraining and communications skills to create clear guidance and deliver end-user trainingAbility to create and manage custom reports and dashboards in Concur and/or other business toolsReporting and analytics: Concur Intelligence/CognosConcur Certified or completion of relevant Concur administrator training a plus.Experience in supporting Concur implementations, upgrades, or configuration projects.Understanding of corporate card integration and reconciliation processes.

Salary compensation range and midpoint:

$71,500 - $89,500 - $107,500 Annual
