  Essential Functions of the RoleCreate a clear vision for nursing in your department. Work with supervisors and staff on goals. Build a proven work environment based on research. Mentor the team for growth in clinical and leadership roles. Keep the team updated on new protocols.Stay current on clinical practices, leadership methods, research findings, and patient care models. Plan quality improvements using evidence. Manage research projects to grow skills.You must create a caring, safe environment for patients, families, and staff. Uphold high service standards always. Manage and set an example of excellence to ensure staff follows standards.You will be a model, teacher, and mentor in nursing. Promote leadership and accountability in practice. Your role will elevate our team in healthcare.You'll use organizational knowledge to develop staff and patient strategies in line with goals. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing.At least (4) four years of relevant experience is necessary for this role.Registered nurse (RN)Within the (1) first year of your employment, it will be necessary for you to complete an Abbreviated Injury Scale course.Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support certifications should be obtained within (30) thirty days of hiring or employee transfer.Trauma Outcomes & Performance (TOPIC): TOPIC within (12) twelve months.Emergency Nurse Pediatric (ENPC), Pedi Adv Life Support (PALS): PALS in 30 days or ENPC in 180 days of hire.RN- Advanced Trauma Care (ATCN), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC): TNCC or ATCN within 180 days of hire.Critical Care RN (CCRN), Critical Care - Pediatrics (CCRN-PED), Certified PED Emergency Nurse (CPEN), Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN), Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN): Obtain CCRN, CCRN-PED, CEN, CPEN, CPN, or TCRN within (12) twelve months of hire.
