Job Description

In a nutshell

As a Transversal Business Analyst, within the Digital OnLine (DOL) team team,  you will work across business units to define common language, harmonize processes, and capture core concepts. Your goal is to create clarity and consistency through a business glossary, process documentation, and capability mapping, enabling better collaboration and decision-making across Eurofins.

Where you will be based and what business you will support 

Based in Lisbon, Portugal; you will support our Eurofins Digital OnLine (DOL) team, which is managing multiple eCommerce products. The team is continuously improving the applications to meet business demand and improve customer satisfaction.

 

How can you help us? 

1) Concept and Domain Modelling

Identify and define core business concepts (e.g., Customer, Order, Sample).Document relationships between concepts and maintain a canonical model.Align concepts with domain boundaries to reduce complexity and improve integration.

2) Business Glossary Management

Define and maintain a clear, approved glossary of business terms.Ensure consistent definitions across departments and resolve conflicting terminology.Set up governance for glossary updates, including approval workflows and version control.Link glossary terms to KPIs, reports, and data sources for transparency.Promote adoption through onboarding guides and training sessions.Responsible for maintaining KGDs (Key Guidance Documents) as part of glossary governance.

3) Business Process Documentation

Capture current (as-is) processes across business units.Harmonize and standardize processes where possible to reduce complexity.Document future (to-be) processes aligned with business goals and compliance needs.Use clear visual standards (e.g., BPMN diagrams) and include roles, inputs/outputs, and controls.Connect processes to glossary terms and KPIs for full traceability.Responsible for creating and maintaining BPDs (Business Process Documents) related to the Digital Online program.

4) Capability Mapping

Create a capability map showing what the business does, independent of organizational structure.Link processes to capabilities to identify overlaps and gaps.Support prioritization by assessing capability maturity and business value.

5) Change Enablement

Prepare clear communication materials (glossary guides, process one-pagers).Support training and onboarding for new processes and terminology.Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to ensure smooth adoption.

Qualifications

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.Experience in business analysis, process modeling, and glossary management.Strong communication skills to align diverse stakeholders.Familiarity with BPMN, capability mapping, and domain modelling.Knowledge of governance and change management practices.
